OPENI'S USEFUL TOOLBOX

What is new

October 26, 2026 · Readability and English

Desktop text is larger by default. You can choose 100%, 150% or 200% in the header and keep that preference. English site pages include tool controls, messages and usage notes. Journal extension and notes-app interfaces are separate.

Audio Splitter & Joiner 0.1.0

Split recordings by time, extract an interval or join files in order. Formats are adjusted automatically where needed. Audio is processed locally. A 6-hour-28-minute file was checked locally for splitting and preservation of compressed audio data. This is not a guarantee for every 24-hour file.

PDF Converter & Manager 0.2.0

Merge, split, select and rotate pages. Create PDFs from pictures and export pictures, Word, PPT or simple Excel tables from PDF. DOCX, XLSX and PPTX can also be converted to PDF locally. Fonts and layout can change; review the preview. OCR is not provided.

Other tools and Journal

Image editing, background removal, face mosaic, batch renaming, video GIF and screen GIF are available as public betas. YouTube Journal’s public package is 0.4.2. Installation and backup instructions.
